This has been a great year of change, personal and professional development, and growth. I experienced times of both contraction and expansion during this year. Life is like that, it has its ups and its downs. The biggest change and challenge has been in relocating the physical location of my practice. I started the year in San Diego, California and finished it in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
I had to part company with numerous local clients and peers in California and then begin to forge new contacts and develop new relationships in Minnesota where I knew no one. I am thankful for modern technology – the internet and web conferencing. It has made it a lot easier to stay in touch with those I left behind and to begin to make connections with those who are here.
I have enjoyed the opportunity to travel a lot this year. I made two trips to Los Angeles, one to Reno with a quick stop in Las Vegas, three to Phoenix, three to the Chicago area, one to Santa Fe and one to Scotland.
I am looking forward to even more growth and positive change in this new year, not only for myself but for everyone I have the opportunity to meet and work with.
